1954 Schwinn Cruiser before/after restoration

We just completed a custom build for our friend. It is a 1954 Schwinn Ladies Cruiser. It was in bad shape, but we got it refinished with new colors and some new parts.

The frame and parts were sandblasted and then powder coated. The frame received a matte black finish and the chain guard and rear rack both got florescent green. The handle bars had lost much of their chrome, so we had them blasted and then clear-coated over the raw steel. New chrome wheels, fork and cranks and matching grips completed the bike. Here is what it looked like before:

COG issue #7

We now have the newest issue of the COG Magazine, #7.

We also have some hip bags, made by a lriend who wishes to remain anonymous. She made three, and we are down to two now. They are made out of a recycled banner. They sell for $15.00 each.

Newly powdercoated items!

We just got a group of frames and parts back form the powdercoaters. Such an awesome job.

Items include: 4 frames, 4 forks, 1 chainguard and rear rack, 1 handlebar, 3 rims

This blue frame is a 49cm Bridgestone road bike. The shade is called "French Blue" and almost matches the blue in our shop. The next frame is a vintage schwinn which was coated with a special copper sparkle finish. The next frame is a vintage Schwinn Sports Tourer. It has lighter weight steel tubing than the others.

We are building a vintage beach cruiser for our friend. The frame was powder coated matte black and it will have a florescent green chain guard and rear rack, the handle bars were sandblasted and then clear coated. We got matching grips.

Nicky is really excited about her new rims and fork. They are for her Schwinn Stingray which we are building up.

If you want your frame powder coated, you can bring it to us for help. We have color samples and there are hundreds to choose from.
